See them march in single file lines oblivious automated mechanized through the motions I wonder if they feel the cold program life divided and they think they have a choice but tomorrow will you feel the shame every day is the same I cannot live this way so call me a criminal but my cuffed hands are clean they think obedience is a virtue and there exists only love in dreams I never agreed to this arrangement do what they say and nobody gets hurt except for who you willingly afford to die the last bastion of comfort freedom or security? The moral dilemma humanity versus a convenience store do you stand by your convictions or will you sell them just to live to see another day in chance how do you sleep at night ?

It's always the same story tried to make due with all these lines so cheap you can always see through now if I stayed a little longer how much is this time really worth I'm ripping the feathers from this bird that won't stop repeating each and every lie alibis to dig away at the top the cold seems almost nonexistent denial of control to recognize the scope getting smaller with each thought attaining unity spiral infinitely so ask me just what it is maybe you'll get an answer if I'm feeling cooperative but what is it worth if nothing ever changes we've been here so many times can't count the mistakes on one million hands how blind have we become ? Asleep for ages we're not going to take it easy while you're dreaming of waking if the sun should rise tomorrow how lucky will we be in the shadow of misfortune where they hang you out to dry left alone to listen acceptance of all that is we take each day as they come and laugh ourselves as they lose control

Say goodbye to all you've worked for it's not wasted to find meaning in this cycle of confusion who really cares anymore everything so cheap these days the situation's out of hand but there never was a plan nobody's ever been in control red and green staring back at me expecting the best prepared for whatever may come so long to the last party guests they're exiting shit faced the hype surrounding stories fabricated scattered towards the corners of the earth left to decay to erode with time living lies under water the slowest drown to choke life from the lungs grasping for a second chance some things you can't recreate to give life to the empty breathe breath to the dead never keeping secrets inside disappearing these last words I'll say to you when you find just what it is you're looking for was it worth the torture ? Divide the sky with lies keep talking making points that mean nothing but keep talking anyway maybe one day somebody will act like they care you get what you give so you'd better hope that those you've wronged will learn to forgive

The eyes draw focus
Still standing
What remains ?
Have you seen enough yet ?
Keeping focused on the things you fear
They'll never leave if you don't scream obscenities at them
There's changes going on inside
Just another fence to jump
A locked door to kick open
Another head to explode
Now they're watching you
Scrutinizing everything you do
Such a cynic on the outside
But there's no disguise to hide behind
Attentive to the words that nearly tore your ego apart
I haven't seen you in such a long time
Have you confronted those shifty demons
Deep inside taunting and screeching
How can you ever walk away ?
Will you live to see another day
The walls are false
The mirror is two ways
Suicide by vanity
You've been cut from your own play
Held hostage by deluded self image
So try on another costume
But will that really help to clear the air

We slowly see the simplicity peaking through if you can stare at the edge and see the picture for all it is we're getting closer clawing away at the thinly veiled absurdities existence taught to be transparent I'm shining a light on the thieves that the dumb shits revere and sweet Jesus are they angry with me you see the crooked bastards they could care less they've got their money and television sets and more than enough depravity and violent tendencies where are we now staring into the abyss yet again like it's something new you look so surprised tell me what did you expect the same repetitions and different results open your eyes because things ain't getting better denial ain't working so faithfully attached to superstition and tradition cutting through learned behavior choke on words with no intent to ever say we're so insincere living and loving the fear the lowest factor in a book of lies in which to prophesize that all the prophets are liars and the profits are all that they have ever held sacred afraid of waking am I hallucinating I could really use some medicating outlasting the guilt we're born into all of these irrationalities that we've vested all of these emotions in these expectations and explanations all of these excuses and aggrandizations just to belittle what you hold so dear pick and choose either way you lose everything anyway I wish it wasn't real but it appears to be happening at any rate I am nobody remember that but I wish that I was a paranoid maniac will you kill for my cause ? Can we ever agree on anything at all ? And if I get of course on a one winged horse I'll fly myself back to my galaxy where we'll no longer be such fucking peasants anymore obliterate it all and watch as two monkeys rebuild (repopulate) civilization it's almost logic spelled out for you in one's and zero's

through the storm
each moment passing
every second washed into history
what was now fades away leaving only what will be
if the sun should rise tomorrow
how lucky will we be what remains
and what's to come I guess that's left to see
